"A Hard Days' Work Ahead" 30x36 oil on linen SOLD
"Palette & Palate Stroll" Friday July 16 After working on the two "Southern Tradition pieces, I knew I wanted to continue with the theme of people working in the Low Country. I had just gone to Rosebank to paint the hydrangeas and fields of flowers, and wanted to include cotton fields in the series also. The back-breaking work in the hot sun is a tradition still carried on - a tradition I wanted to capture on canvas.
