"Southern Traditions II"

The two "Southern Tradition" paintings were the start of the series for "Palette & Palate Stroll". I am always enthralled by shadows and reflections,
especially when they are in the water. There are two similar paintings in the series because when I finished the first one, I felt I needed to "say" more -
maybe in a different way. If you compare the two pieces, it's not just the size that's different, but the feel, the atmosphere is different too.
I loved painting both pieces, and finally felt satisfied when the second was complete.
